LEVEL 4 / POST 1 (Week 3): A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT.
Hello everyone!
This is the first blog session of this second semester. Today's topic is related to countries, and you will have to write a 160 word post (as a minimum).

- What would you like to do there?

As a guide, here is my version of this topic:
There are not many opportunities in our life to travel abroad, and as the saying goes “there are no expenses in dreaming”, I would like to visit different places of course but if I have the chance of visiting a country this year, I would definitely pick up Iceland. At this point, you might be asking yourself, Why Iceland? Where is it? Vikings? Elves? I’ve heard is very cold and ice everywhere. Well, let me clue you in.

Icelanders are the friendliest country and gender equality is one of the highest in the world. Nowadays, they also play a very important role in music, giving us the opportunity to see musicians like Björk, Of Monsters and Men, Ásgeir, etc.
To sum up, I would love to travel there with my track bike if it is possible. Going down the hills like the movie ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ (https://youtu.be/cT_Wuzag6VU), meeting new people and learning different languages and cultures.
Omg! I didn't know nothing about Iceland, it was so interesting to reading about it!<3 also, you aren't scared of hills? Even, in bikes... I don't know, that sound too hardcore for me haha!
ReplyDeleteWhen you mentioned the Aurora Borealis I couldn't help thinking in Brother Bear haha anyways, it sound like a nice place, I'd like to visit it too

ReplyDeleteAs I can see, Iceland is an amazing place, not only for its landscape, but also its culture (like you said, the gender equality and music) and its beautiful phenomenon. I agree, it's a great country to visit.

ReplyDeleteHi! I like this country! I don´t knew that the Aurora Borealis can saw in Iceland. This phenomenon is gorgeous with its colors. Only I watched it in Skyrim (a videogame), I would want to saw myself in the sky.

ReplyDeleteWhen he mentioned the Northern Lights, it reminded me of the film "Land of the Bears", which is a very beautiful phenomenon that occurs in that country. I hope I get to visit it one day.
